for what its worth it will bolt up ,but you cant run the vvti as the gen4and 5 have another oil gallery in the block to feed it not availible on gen 1 to 3 also pistons are flat top as the valves are standing up more the cam pulleys are 5mm apart to 25mm aprt gen 1to 3 also have oil squirters and a thiner rod and a stronger block as well and as toby said there are 2 versions single and dual you can set up either for rwd if yoy no what you are doing
