no they both run timing belts.
You can do what you are saying but no real point. Basically all you will be using in the end is the 4ac block, I know people who have done this but the only reason was to keep the engine number the same.
Personally I you are going to do a rebuild and lots of work etc. I would go find a blown 4age as they go for really cheap and then rebuild and do your work to that.
