You really need to be coming down in offset as you increase rim diameter and width, so for your originally 2.2l 14 inch / 3.0l 15 inch wheeled Camry to fit 16 inch rims, the offset must reduce, not get bigger. I think you will struggle to fit 16 inch 50 mm offset Soarer rims, they are likely to foul against the struts on your widebody.
