The 1G is an absolutely simple swap. The only thing required is a spacer for one of the engine mounts.
The 1JZ is an extrememly painful conversion involving a lot of relocation of things in the engine bay. Plus will kill the handling.
For an RA Celica, there's really no other choice other than a 1G.
