S15 turbos go for between $600 and $800 which I find a little odd seeing as they have the same internals as an S14 turbo,which sells for around $400. they are NOT ball bearing,as previously stated by Cameron. In the last two months,I've had three S14 turbos in my hands from various year model cars,and two S15 turbos from cars two years apart in build and can verify that the only difference between the cartridge numbers is a -1 on the S14 turbo and a -2 on the S15 turbo on the end of the 466543-1 cart. number. call garrett and ask what this difference will mean. your answer will be something along the lines of 'stuff all'. it's a later series of the same thing. they're a good turbo to be sure,and worth what people ask for them. but all this crap going around about "S14a has a roller bearing turbo,S14 doesn't,only JDM S15's have this,and oz cars have that,and only '99 model S14's have BB" is getting pretty old. it's all crap that's become supposed 'truth' through overuse by morons on the internet who listen to other morons who don't quite know what they're on about. they're just regurgitating what magazines have told them,and what they're read on forums populated by 'experts' who've never even seen the turbo they're talking about most of the time. what you have for sale is a plain bearing turbo from an S15. it's capable of flowing enough air on an SR20DET with sufficient work done to it to support 227kw atw in the car it came out of.
