Check turbos if possible. Budget for replacing lots of belts and bearings and seals. Manual front cuts can be hard to find - mine was $4500 2 years ago, although you never know sometimes they show up. An auto will fly as well - you may decide not to bother going manual once you start driving it. MV automatics do a shift kit for the A340 trans that's supposed to be very good.
