Hi mate-With the intake, that's just a 3 inch alloy bend that is blended into the bottom corner of the plenum. It's really only temporary and will be changed to a VL/supra/skyline log style plenum with internal bellmouths soon. If you get a 100 series motor to begin with it has a better plenum setup for modifications anyway and a coil pack ignition arrangement (mine is an electronic dizzy, but that suited me as I have a crane hi-6 CD ignition system on it)
As for the trans, when I had it all rebuilt by MV autos, it turned out it was actually a cressida A340 (a few minor differences) trans, but when it was rebuilt mike put all the supra bits in it anyway. Short story is that it's a race prepped MK3 supra turbo trans. As for the bolt pattern, I made an adaptor plate to go in there. Hence, any trans you like can be fitted-trimatic, A340, powerglide, C4, any manual etc-you just have to make the plate (not too hard in the end-although you need to do some rooting about to get the starter sorted-but there are many ways to skin a cat, and it'll depend how much room you have/can make)
As for the size, I don't have it on hand but will measure tonight.
Cheers
Sean
