Before you make comments such as "To be honest, if I used 30%, I'd feel like a w*anker." Please find out all the facts.
As I stated in my original mail I said I expected the MAXIMUM loss to be 30%, that includes an adjustment for the fact that I live in Johannesburg at high altitude. Some say that the adjustment for this is actually greater than I have used. Therefore I could be underestimating the losses by a larger amount and so I am being conservative. You also have to take a number of other considerations into account, what tyre pressure do run, am I using a T-50, type of rolling road,state of exhaust, etc etc etc. NONE of these are were you aware of when you made you rude statement.
What I have just realised is that I was calculating my % losses the wrong way round and so I apologise to a few guys for that. I did not however accuse them of being w*ankers due to my error/bold assumption.
In order to maintain that this forum is kept informative and useful I suggest that you refrain form making bold sweeping statements about how you would feel if you used other peoples ideas.
