well webers are a good add on and help feed a larger amount of air and fuel into the engine at a quicker speed, you find a big notice in a weber is it gives the car more torque exspecially going up hills but the downside is they help the engine use a hell of a lot more fuel, cam well of course it improves engine performance and does tend to make a big difference over standard,
i've found that with my car it may only be a little quicker over a standard 18-RC on take off and top speed wise but my engine is fantastic when driven hard on twisty stuff where you in around 2nd 3rd gear it has great response and puts all of its power out in those two gears so for me its fantastic and is everything i need as i like driving on tight twisty dirt tracks. but personally i don't see why you shouldn't do up an 18-RC as i feel that would be more original then just sticking in another engine like many others do, would be nothing better then to have a car that looks to have a fully stock engine but is far from it.
my engine has a double throat 45mm side draft weber and a cam and thats what i know for sure,
but i've been told it has been ported, polished head, bigger valves, bigger pistons, blue printed and balanced but i can't be sure on that.
and of course extractors and exhaust.
