you are right, it definatley isnt the forums for the reason that i havent been to meetings for a while, or renewed my membership, or had much contact with all the people i used to. however you stated yourself that the forums are the public representation of the club, we both used to have in depth discussions on this very point including the option of trying a ... sub club .. for alternate events. CAMS diddnt happen , and the alternative hasnt spawned many exciting competitive events either.

i could probly make the same excuses for not coming to meetings as you would give for having the same issues and still being there, I however did not volunteer my time for the board and i suspect if you are honest with yourself , had you been in a different position where the club commitment was not as pressed as it is for you currently, youd spend more time with your new child too.

i have no doubt that the people who turn up to events are still doing the similar things we started out doing.. but they in general are not the people creating the tension on the forums either as you well know.

ok i probhably wasnt fair there, there are a few people around the traps that still do stuff. but you gotta admit... its been very quite lately, regardless of myself, or people like Mos ,Darren, Phil, etc etc and yourself are there or not .. its only people like Bigworm and Witzl who seem to be taking up the slack lately other than some of the interstate guys.
