Thanks for the input. Yeah.. rack end seals, I'll have to investigate how hard this job would be, when I've mentioned to a couple of mechanics, they say "reco rack" time..but seems a bit excessive just for rack end seals. I thought there must be a downside to adding all this viscosity. Are these pumps in corollas pretty resilient? I wouldn't want to wreck the pump if tried this additive for a "short" term fix.
Taking the rack out to fix the rack seals would be a bit of a pain. . But will most likely have to be done at some point.
Everybody seems to say this product works well, but I woul have expected some premature pump failure?
