Talking to a guy in the bizz that ownes his own shop and his biggest consern on doing cash jobs is not getting payed (I'm not saying you would do this) but many have in the past.he will not hand over the car until he gets payed but he has to pay for everything used and the labour aswell.
Now this is were problems start,they want cash up front you and I don't want to part with it because of what we hear time and time again so you end up with the problem that you have now.
There are two sides to everything and I hope that this clears a few things up. BTW NRMA and the rest hold out on paying for up to 90 days and this puts a big strain on cash flow.
Find a good panel shop and see how you go
