I would'nt personally buy a SS full stop!  But buying an ex cop car is just the same as any second hand car! I always need to presume that the car has been flogged! The only problem would be all the drill/screw holes! And most of the time the wiring under the dash is in such a mess! Exspecially after i've been at it 
Oh and for some reason the cops have a bad habit of leaving the windows down when its raining!
All these things are easy to look for and easy to fix if its a problem for you!
