Tue, 20 April 2004 05:40 Yep, I agree a post count descriminator would result in some new forum goers simply posting junk to forfill the requirements, and for that reason, if implenented, I would recommend all new members reaching the limit have their count screened for post whoring - if they are deemed to have done so, their limit is increased to 100 posts, if they continue to carry on in that fashion, they can again have their limit increased, or be banned before becoming a problem. Lets face it, 30ish posts can easily be acheived within a week, be they constructive or otherwise on this forum, and it will give the regular forum goers an idea of the new member's motives and experience in automotive dealings. My biggest request is a time or page limit on the "Cars and Parts For Sale and Wanted" sections - I feel the old ads that are no longer relavent are an incredible waste of space and time when brought back up. a limit of, for example, 4-5 months or 15-20 pages, I feel would greatly improve these areas?!
