You need a high pressure efi pump.
You can:
- Run an efi pump directly out of your stock sprinter pickup. This is dodgy and will cause fuel surge if your tank is low.
- run a small low-pressure lift pump filling a surge tank and then feed your efi pump from the surge tank. Much better, but good luck fitting all that crap under a sprinter rear end.
- Pay lots for an efi sprinter tank
- Cut open your stock tank, get baffles welded in and then mount your choice of in-tank efi pump.
- Or run it on LPG.
Then make sure you replace all rubber fuel hose between the pump and fuel pressure regulator with high-pressure efi stuff. And plumb the return line from the fuel rail back into the stock tank return line. The factory metal lines are big enough to flow enough fuel.
