Changing rear shocks is a piece of piss in a car like yours, you can do it without dismantling the suspension... just unbolt the old shocks and whack the new ones in. Changing the strut inserts is a bit harder though. What I usually do it take the struts out, remove the springs (you need a spring compressor obviously), and send them to a suspension shop to have the inserts swapped. Shouldn't cost you any more than 20 bucks, which is worth it IMO.
