Dude, you posted a reply just as i was typing, anyway no i did not use tint spray, just a can of matt black and clear spray, my front parkers are factory tinted so it all works pretty well, but im thinking of respraying the tail lights, im surprised i didn't get a defective over my lights AND that i got my road worthy without changing them.  But then again it was a pretty dodgy road worthy joint.
