Careful now guys....I know a guy that hired a 5 litre Holden and took it to his car clubs track day. Unfortunately, one of the race mags published a photo of it. Some keen retal car place picked up that the number plate (and hence car)was one of theirs.
The guy got nailed for tranny and brake overhauls.
Also, if I remember correctly, the excess on a damaged rental car was a couple of thousand dollars - and that's if they don't find out it was done racing.
Oh, and it's sorta illegal.

Not to mention jack ass shit like this actually end up costing us money, and hurt small businesses(franchises), and jack up insurance premiums...Yes it was a funny read, but that is about it, if everyone goes out and does this everything is going to end up costing us, the consumers more!!!
No wonder under 25's find it difficult to rent much more than an echo!!
