An XR6 turbo will absolutely demolish a GTHO around a circuit, not sure about straight line though (it would probably be close). yeah was trying not to get in an arguement with any falcon gt fans it doesn't handle as well as modern cars I have never driven a genuine gt but have driven 1 replica and handling was rather different (well a lot different to a vr commodore V8's handling) I'd feel a lot safe behind the wheel of a vr commodore V8 i feel terrable saying that about the good old falcon I not saying the ledgendary falcon gt's are crap (my fav all time aussie muscle car is the xy falcon gtho phase III) so I would never call them crap but what I am saying is exactly what you said Norbie about the XY handling compared to any car built in the last 10 years [Report message to a moderator]
