But I actually rang the tyre place and they said it would be fine. As you say it is a little bulgy but not too bad at all (Sorry to go behind your back). I got these Yokohamas at a good price so wacked them on. Having new tyres and the correct offset wheels = light steering My AE82 now feels like it has PS but it doesn't . Better get a wheel alignment before I scrub them out.
PS I much rather a slightly thicker sidewall (i.e. higher profile..no tramtracking etc). I'm not sure how the newer cars that come stock with low profile get around this problem..maybe a lot of time in development
