Otherwise Dimmu Borgir is pretty crap. Last two albums from Dimmu were sooo sad, utter crap IMHO. There are much better artists. Like Immortal, Enslaved, Satyricon, Emperor(older) just to name few. Yeahh I agree, the dimmu stuff I have would be tolerable were it not for a really bad keyboard sound they had going on. I don't really understand why they are so popular now.. I was kinda hoping Shagrath was indeed dead and they had line-up changes. Apparantly they are touring Syd and Melb soon. Satyricon went a bit gay in recent times - and Satyr should never have been allowed to produce the later Darkthrone material! Ihsahn from Emperor is definately on my list of Fagothic GayLords that Deserve to be Taunted. Which is a mighty shame, as yes, their early material was very good. I think I must be getting old. I can remember 'the good old days'. EDIT: Which is not to say there isn't some superb material out there! I'm just old and bitter. Hails to you for listing good bands Jayem.
