the 2ZZ was used in the US models becuase the old K motor was never emission tested for US compliance, whereas the 2ZZ already was by toyota.
so does this mean the rest of the world gets the 2ZZ? or just the US.
apparently the US toyota 2ZZ ECU's and lotus ECU's are not interchangable, and there is not much info around as to the other changes... probably better exhaust and some minor intake mods... dount they would have upped the cams by much.
the proton gti IS 'tuned by lotus' but only because proton OWN lotus . it does handle nicely (i went to a test drive day at eastern creek ), but lacks a bit of grunt but anyway...
so.. who's gonna make a RWD bellhousing for one of these suckers
