Ok i just found some of the info i was looking for.
the AE86 has a larger output shaft, 22 spline?
but the ta22 only has a 20 spline.
also found out the shifter positions are different.
could someone explain the difference between forward and rearwards shifter position?
from this i assume the ae86 had the stronger t50. to get this box to fit my ta22 would i only need a clutch plate from a sprinter or is there more involved?
this is all i had to do when i was changing from an early model turbo gearbox to a late model turbo gearbox when i did the swap on my charade.
