Alainve Forums Junkie Location: Newcastle NSW Registered: June 2002	Re: Help Needed No. 3 Timing Cover Cracked Wed, 28 April 2004 13:43 if its got oil into the cracks forget about welding it unles you take it to a specialist alloy shop, without proper cleaning the oil prevents the alloy fusing together and you end up chasing the crack half way around the job. ive f**ked a couple of things like that i just put it down to experience from what ive heard devcon is the best gear for the job. its used by the RAAF it must be good!!!
