it depends on what motor, what capacity and whats it's uses are.
hotdogs aren't really mufflers.. they are usually abotu as good as muffling as a hot dog you eat 
if you want a rice note, it should work ok, but keep the resonator... the less muffler you have, the more police attention you attract!!!
for my 4K i have a 2" system, 2 resonators, and a large chambered reverse flow muffler..
it's pretty quiet... but i guess thats not wot u r afta?
