wipe with a clean rag the inner housing to ensure theres nothing inside ( ie chewed off teeth )
corn flakes boxes make good gaskets for a cheap runaround yet its worth the extra $$ wether you use a home made or propor gasket to use gasket goo
axles tend to coem out easier using the drum covner eversed to pull them out
watch out for springs and small bits that are under load
make sure the tailshaft bolts are done up tight after completign it alas you will think youve blown another one from the noise
use a soft drink bottle or similar cleasned out with a hole cut in the lid and a tube shoved in it to fill the diff with oil
a pinch bar/long old buggered screwdriver will come in handy to get the diff out if its been sealed for a long period fo time
oh and ensure the cas supported very well while doing this as youa re doing most fo thsi WITHOUT the wheels on and rocking the car

thanks champ
