Well I drive government cars HARD, actually BLOODY HARD is a better way to put it! Who would have thought a stock government VX is setup for a round of the ARC, straight from the factory! As for buying the cop car, anything can be fixed and lets face it, you'll probably drive the GEN III hard anyway. Good luck and enjoy!

Yeah thats what worries me more about "normal" ex gov cars....people thrash them more than cop cars. Like cops don't get to take the highway patrol car home. It is always in service and if anyone saw a cop car out in the suburbs doing burnouts etc they would be busted BAD. Doesn't mean gov cars can't though. I go to uni and a few times we have been "in charge" of the cars. One trip we took a new then series 2 Acclaim out into some damn rough country in the Gold COast hinterland (we had the uni's permission) and couldn't get it to spin the wheels on the gravel roads....till we worked out it had traction control. When we left the uni gates it had 53km's on the clock...so much for running it in!!
