yes, for the price and for the ease of the conversion, the pug/hilux/corona brake conversion is probably the best!!! i have recently one this conversion on my TA22 (look at my avatar)...
the corona struts can be fitted into your TA22 without mods but it will mean that you will loose approx 1 inch of suspension travel, which is no good on a lowered car!! and no you cannot use the TA22 springs unless you chop them down. what the best option here is to have the strut itself shortened to regain the suspension travel, and have the spring clamp rewelded lower so the TA22 springs will be the right length/height...
so if you are prepared to do this conversion, there are many mods that may also need to be looked at, such as custom disc machining, master cylinder mods, etc.
oh and 15 inch wheels will deffinately fit!!!
