Yeah, that's what I thought too, psychofox, and I've heard about 5 million different opinions about whether or not it should be engineered.
On a different note, but still regarding rego and blue slips, I went to get my troopy rego renewed today, and it apparently now needs a heavy vehicle inspection as it's classified as a bus! So I went to a blue slip dude to get the vehicle classification changed to panel van or station wagon and was told I need an engineers certificate!!!! For what?! Removal of rear seats!? What a joke. Well, anyway, found a dude who will give me a blue slip for the troopy AND the Sprinter.... No matter what they look like! I guess he doesn't value his licence much.
Anyway, back to the issue at hand - Why, if there is no change in capacity, does it need engineering????
