Hey guys,
It's happened, my exhaust has blown its last fumes. Please excuse my terminology, but pretty much the pipe from the engine all the way out the back has had it. So from the manifold, the pipe, the muffler to the tip, perhaps even the catalytic converter in there somewhere?
The entire length is rusted through with holes and illegally loud. I"m pretty sure right now that its broken in a number of places, apparently i'm getting some flames.
What i need to do it replace it with a new exhaust-ASAP.
I would like to put on an exhaust that will fit a 3TGTEU when i upgradge from the 2T engine. Is this possible? I would also like to put 3" or at least 2.5", stainless steal all the way... is that ok? I would like it to be compatible with a turbo later on, perhaps a ct26/28. Any advice?
I know, some of you aren't in favour of the big tip, but i would like one of those cans at the end.
Finally, can anyone hook me up with a good deal? Or a place in melbourne which will do the whole lot for me? Or even buy it from somewhere, and have it installed elsewhere. Any ball park figures for what type of bill i'll be up for?
