I have a 77RA28 and have a set of discs and calipers off a RA60. These are a bit bigger I believe and are vented. The two hubs have different mountng points though so I will have to make an adaption plate to fit them.

Is this safe to do? can I make a plate out of a chunck of plate or will it flex too much?? Also, is it worth while?? Will these discs be much better than stock or should I save my time and just get something better later?

I would like to fit an 18rg or a 1ggte one day when I am finished with the rest of crap I am doing with it so I might as well fit something that will be good enough for that.

If it is OK, can anyone suggest how thick the plate would have to be to eliminate flex??

Also, I have the front and rear swaybars of the same celica, will these fit?
