4A-GE KE70

I've been thinking on what I'd like to do engine wise to my little KE70. I've thought about bore'ing out the little 4K-C and working off that... But then I thought about just jamming a RWD 4A-GE in there. Will probably replace the gearbox with a AE86 item and I will most likely have to replace the diff also along with the front disc's so alot more work/money involved than just working off the 4K-C but I think it would be worth it.
So the question I'm asking is, seeing I plan on doing most of the work myself, will it be a really huge task getting the thing to fit? Or will it just fit straight in? I've been told that I will need a AE86 cross-member as well? is this so? My old man will be helping me out, hes handy with cars and has a few connections so he will come in handy making it all light work and can show me what I may be doing wrong
I haven't quite got the funds yet, so I'm kind of planning ahead and I'm still getting prices from a few companys that stock 4A-GE's and other AE86 parts, but being situated in Tasmania it could be a pain getting it all shipped down.
Any advice or do's and don't's will be good.
Also I've been reading over some of the tech articles on the site, I'm sure they will come in handy
