Sun, 02 May 2004 11:25 The toyota name is a 'solar sensor' and does as alan said above. Used for the climate control function, MKII's have another ambient sensor in the center console, don't know about MKIII's, but they are used to determine the temperature whenthe system is set to 'auto'. My mums avalon has a solar sensor, so they are still in use. [Report message to a moderator]
