Mon, 03 May 2004 13:16 i just lost it in my wrx on ANZAC night. when you loose it, you loose it LARGE. but at least i went down in style(wheelspin, smoke, noise you know the deal). long story short. t-intersection,turn right, 1st, then snapping 2nd. S-I-D-E-W-A-Y-S........then BOOM, back wheels grip, flicked to the right, 4 wheels start spinning, a very long, smoking 270 degrees spin and BOOOM! sideways into gutter. right out in front of the local servo. bent alot of stuff control arms etc, diff might be punchured, need new back wheel etc etc. had to get out of there (double d's etc) so i still magaged to drive it home, bit to much noise for my liking though(tyre screetching cuz it has ALOT of +ve camber and is bent slightly inwards) lucky i know how to drive, could have been much worse . i think the reason i crashed was that i wasn't afraid to give it.(that and a gutter jumping in front of me;)) the second she is fixed im going to hit the same intersection and get it right.
