Unless you buy a kit which bolts in and is already approved.. But i doubt they would even pick on this. (Police that is) as a defectable item.. As far as the police are aware if they work correctly.. Then there isnt an issue for them.. Just like brake lights, people always fit the altezza style ones. The proper ones are fine.. The imitation ones that shine pink sometimes have issues.
