i had an acco on friday and it was my fault so im in the same boat as you (except i wrote their car off and i aint got 3rd party haha).
say you want to go to their house and see it, if they say no, say see you later. you have the right to bring an independant valuer to asses the damages. after they get three WRITTEN quotes, offer them a cash settlement half of that. because its almost certain they are just trying to screw you for the money, they want the cash and wont fix it. or if worse comes to worse, let them fix it, take it to one of the panel beaters that they got the quote from (which ever is YOUR choice) and give them the money so the guy dont proffit from it. if they keep being an ass, stuff them around and say call my insurance company
