The custom cap houses an optical sensor, positioned at the number one position (obviously no plug leads required). When the rotor passes through the optical sensor slit it produces the pulse required for the number one firing. Just have to make sure that optical sensor triggers before number one would fire and after number two fires. You can still turn the distributor to get this bit right. Take a bit of fiddling but is probably easier than modifying another distributor to fit. [Report message to a moderator]
