Having said all that I think there is a problem with XT/RT13x struts into a TA23, to do with the steering knuckles on the TA23.
So I think you will need to changes the steering knuckles.
The XT130 was the Aussie made Corona, don't know if it went to NZ.

i must have a different TA23 to you guys cause the Xt130 struts bolted into my car, no issues at all with the steering knuckles, and thats from the horses mouth
