The other day I sat a wet cloth on the intercooler and I was seeing 11-12 PSI and this was the same day I installed the Apexi filter. This is why I thought that the water injection could help me to see 12+ PSI. Remember that the cooler is a top mount in the rear.
Today without the wet cloth I was only seeing 10PSI. I thought that cooling the intercooler with the cloth was helping me to see the extra boost. I am a little confused. Perhaps the cloth did nothing!?
I believe it is some sort of intake problem.
I am running an Apexi power filter going into a 3 inch pipe going into the stock 2 1/4 inch pipe and onwards through the AFM.
But as jbrough said how would injected water increase the boost? It probably wouldnt now that I think about it.
I need to do some more research regarding the Water injection. I also need to look into other people AW11 GZE + 175mm setups Thanks for the replies.
