in that case yes if you connect a variable resistor inbetween you will be able to adjust it to the temp you would like it to turn on at, as for what type of variable resistor to use don't ask me i have no idea don't know the range of resistence it uses i guess just buy one and have a play if it doesn't work go for one with a higher resistence rating
