Norbie, I was wondering how much your conversion has cost you.
Not counting the front cut, or that huge intercooler. How much has it cost you to get the engine in, how long has it taken (I realise your wiring isn't done), and do you think it's worth it?
I was thinking the 1jz conversion would be relatively simple ... but after reading about your custom crossmember etc etc, maybe there's a lot more to it than I thought.
Plus, how long do you expect that 5 speed to last behind the power of a 2JZ-GTE? 'cause if that's a viable alternative, I might consider it instead of the 1JZ (as I have access to a couple of 2JZ-GE bellhousings & gearboxes)
