The best cheap mod you can do to a sv21 is get a k&n panel filter for your stock airbox you get a bit in the lowend and topend which noticable, but dont cut your airbox, its sounds excelent but doesnt to anything in teh performance department hehe . Catback exhaust is the next best thing. The best performance mod is a full exhaust system with extractors and hi flow cat which will give you about 12kw at the wheels improvement over stock, dont beleive me ask ICEMAN he has dyno figures to prove it . If your a real driver and like to double you speed limit in corners and roundabouts like me you should get the handling setup redone, i have monroe gt gas shocks( i dont recomend them because i busted it once, get KYB's) and i have King Springs dropped the car 1.5 inches, i have 17z so it sits perfect but if you get 15 or 16 inch go 2 inch drop, i also front bushes changed to harder nolathane bushes. Also the Strut bar made a huge difference but i only Imported 8 from the US and all sold. The Camry Sounds, runs and Handles better than my sisters 6th gen celica, i was on Mt Panorama going down conrods straight and hit teh 90degree left hander at 90 k/hr and teh car just gripped and swung around the corner like on rails, my mate turned white he thought we were going to go straiht into the sand trap, though it could be teh Pirelli P-Zeros on the front keeping us inline . We have had the car in the family since brand new in 1992 and now it has 358,000 ks and still looking good and going strong, I LOVE MY TOYOTAS . It was a 3 year process adding more and more too it, and now im sad to say im selling it coz i have a celica project car .
