i was thinking somewhere along the lines of if the quote was for $2500 for example... put it to him that he pays me $1500 or $2000 and i keep my car and go on my merry way... buy a new shitter, do the conversion again and with the left over cash fix up the suspension but i'm not sure if things will work that way... if he had insurance they probably would have written the car off on the basis that it is an 84 rola worth a steak dinner at Hog's Breath!
