That rod-tech article says that the lower rod/stroke ratio pistons should have a longer skirt? Yet the 5S-FE conrods are the same length as the 3S-conrods (1.6 rod/stroke for 3S, 1.45 for 5S) but the 5S-FE has a mini-skirt on compared to the 3S-GE pistons. Does this partly explain the difference in redline between 5S-FE and 3S-GE (6300 for 5S, 7300 for 3S). [Report message to a moderator]
