i personally cant see those changes ever taking place, especially standardised aerodynamics and manual clutch/gear control. i think a good idea to slow the cars down a bit would be to have one tyre for all conditions. ie same tyre for wet and dry. this would also be good for tyre development on road cars.
the one engine per weekend rule is a good one, however the penalties for changing engines should be a little different, i mean say your already halfway down the grid due to problems, you may aswell put in a better but more fragile engine and go to the back of the pack and have a better engine for the race.
its a sad fact that the days of trully amazing racing are gone. those of us who remember to the battles between Senna and Prost know EXACTLY what im talking about.
