one bolt behind the clock surround. a screw at the glovebox latch. three bolts facing downward inside the binnacle after you have removed the cluster. there is also a plastic plug you will need to "pop" out... this is just below the screen vents, directly above the inner end of the glovebox. it'll let go with some gentle pulling on the dash (which, for many of the '86ers on this forum, is something they are already have extensive experience with... )
here is one i prepared earlier ...
while you're in there, maybe you will also consider doing a freshen up on your HVAC and ducting? not a must... but if you do, you could also think about getting your heater core checked. it's all cheap insurance, and not difficult.
