Your really trying to make work for yourself. If it is all in bits, your best bet is to coat all the smaller parts in oil and put them in an unsealed bag somewhere where it won't get wet. Don't seal the bag as the air will condese on a hot day. If your really concerned, you could chuck in some dessicant to keep the moisture out. With the block, paint the outside and give the bores a good coat of oil and cover it up. If you are really concerned, there are some oils available (such as the LPS products) that have corrosion inhibitors in them. [Report message to a moderator]
