sure you could paint the head, but its alloy, so whats the point? and yeah, normal paint would burn off around the exhaust manifold gasket most likely. but the raditation of the headers doesnt reach very far.

as for header paint - http://www.ppc.au.com
use their hi temp paint. it wont burn off (well maybe with a fuckload of nitrous)
