DAMAGE PICS Tue, 18 May 2004 10:12 Think I might of found out what went wrong. Pulled out the rest of the rear uni that was still attached to the diff flange. On inspection you can see that the uni has been operating on an odd angle and has been hitting itself every revolution. As a result of this hair line cracks have formed across the top of the uni. One side gave way and the other had 3 or 4 Hair line cracks. This explains what happened, well atleast what gave way. i cannot explain why the shaft split in half. There is no damage under the car bar an 12' long 1' to nothing deep ding in the exhaust. So i don't know why it split. I haven't talked to the tailshaft joint. Am going to tommorrow. This is from my own dectuctions. Solution. Probably going to have to get an ajustable upperlink for the diff and adjust the angle of the gearbox. The diff and the gearbox are on the wrong angles. This is why the uni's where having issues [Report message to a moderator]
