F1 is supposed to be about the fastest cars on the planet, the only rules should be governed by safety. Standard aero packages? I mean what the F#$% is that about, where is the incentive for a company to innovate, innovation breeds success. Anyone who thinks that F1 should be purely about the driver is kidding themselves. Go back in the history of F1 and it is all about innovation, from the time Sir Jack built his own car and won, to todays modern techniques, wind tunnels etc. If it was standarised we would never see that evolution, that would be a shame.
